Direct space-to-time pulse shaper… Arecibo, Chilbolton and NASA (VIDEO)

October 26, 2007

Have we been contacted by intelligent life before?

sup man? What does, 1011011001 mean to you? Not diddly, iBet. Clearly the number is a collection of 1’s and 0’s and appears to resemble binary code. That it may be, but really it’s a little more primitive than that. You see, it’s the date, 10.20.2001 simply giving two 1’s where a two would be, i thought the number mirrored each other for a second and instinctively wrote it down in 1’s and zeros, iGoogled that, and the first thing that came up was a Patent for a space-to-time pulse shaper (mmm) and some sort of communication l.a.s.e.r. Anyway, why is that interesting?

Well, if you believe either in:

A) Ghosts & Goblins B) Angels & Demons C) Aliens & UFOs (D NASA’s competence as of late, WTF is this?)

You may find the story behind the 1’s and 0’s interesting, i do not as a person that necessarily believes in anything above, but maybe more in the vein of Joseph Campbell, anthropology, and the mythology of human beings. Rock the knowledge. Read the rest of this entry »

Leopard is a go.

October 26, 2007

ileopardAlright, it’s officially 2007 and Leopard (Rrrrarrrr!) has been released. Its… evolutionary. No big shocker from a user perspective. Really, its all that, but maybe not a bag of chips.Yes the desktop looks a little better. The first thing iNoticed was that the folders were sharper. Stacks is bona fide function & utilitarian cool, yet spaces… is still giving me some trouble. i got it to work fine, but icant get that screen where you can change applications, its suppose to be F-8, so i tried it, nothing, switched the magic key to F-1, nothings, etc. Any help is appreciated with that one.Mail. Better.Photobooth, Way Better.Front Row (dunno, don’t use it)

os x leopard

iCould go on and on how things are slightly better (even Camino got better!) everywhere, it is a major upgrade to be sure, but it is not “drop dead gorgeous” as the marketing would lead you to believe, at this point ( one hour into using it) iThink i couldn’t waited. iWill be happy to set up time machine/networks/ and .mac a little later though, overall i’m glad this has come through and i hope the OS is highly adopted, so i Can iChat with more people, amybe even from a roller coaster.

installing Leopard

October 26, 2007

First off, wow, ihave been waiting for this day. The official non-developer latest version of OS X. So far its worth waiting for… you see it takes a few HOURS for it to upload, iFirst started to install it and then it went to an aqua screen and acted rapidly deterring the notions that I have read on other posts, then iHit my computer, the disc stopped, and it seemed to almost start over. Now it is reading 1 hour and 32 minutes, not too shabby.

So you hit it?
