As the iTunes application gets heavier and heavier, tying into underlying frameworks, this will enable the UI to become lighter and lighter. CoverStream is a superb example of a ‘lite’ interface that does the job, looks great, and blows away the text-list-heavy interface of iTunes 7.5.
