Apple pushing Safari downloads on Windows users

“Apple and News Corp.’s Twentieth Century Fox have reportedly entered a deal under which Apple would rent Fox movies through its iTunes
store.

The company has been trying for months to convince studios to offer movies for rent on iTunes, according to the Journal.The computer and gadget maker sells movies for people to keep from Disney, Viacom (VIAB)’s Paramount, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Lionsgate. Disney, however, is the only studio to sell new releases. Apple chief executive Steve Jobs is a board member and major shareholder of Disney.

Fake iPod Nano
November 20, 2007personally iThink the iRiver Clix is the coolest portable out there, it does everything the brick below does, except easily sync with iTunes, which is of course, it’s downfall.
“The new iPod nano may be an excellent redesign on Apple’s part, but ECNokia thinks they can do even better (after…err…borrowing Apple’s design). They’ve added an FM tuner, microphone, 1.3MP camera and (.5″ larger) touchscreen to the nano, while swapping out the built-in flash memory for a budget-friendly SD slot. From what we can tell, for now it’s being offered to wholesalers only. But look for the ECNano (our name) on shady store shelves soon.” Via Gizmodo.

“Led Zeppelin has announced plans to make music from the band available online from mid-November,” Jonny Evans reports for Macworld UK.”The band are another of digital music’s final holdouts.
